Governo atualiza lista de ‘bets’ liberadas no Brasil; confira
Empresas têm que cumprir regras estabelecidas na legislação, visando evitar o superendividamento dos apostadores
O governo federal atualizou a lista de empresas de apostas esportivas online – conhecidas como ‘bets’ – autorizadas no Brasil. A publicação consta na edição desta terça-feira 11 do Diário Oficial da União (DOU).
No total, são 37 novas ‘bets’ que vão poder atuar no Brasil até 2026. A maior parte delas já tinha obtido uma autorização temporária em outubro do ano passado. Agora, a autorização passa a ser definitiva.
Segundo a legislação brasileira, o valor da outorga para o funcionamento é de 30 milhões de reais. Além disso, as empresas precisam cumprir uma série de regras relativas à lavagem de dinheiro, segurança financeira e práticas de jogo responsável.
A legislação também impõe que agentes públicos que trabalham na regulamentação e na fiscalização do mercado de apostas não podem explorar a prática no país.
Um dos objetivos do governo é evitar os riscos ligados à prática de apostas esportivas, como o superendividamento dos apostados. Para isso, é proibido promover crédito de apostas e fazer uso de bônus de entrada. As empresas também precisam identificar os apostadores por CPF e oferecer reconhecimento facial.
